The red skull is printed, not engraved. We do not know yet how it holds up over years of wet hands. So one flask is in our dishwasher: 59 cycles as of 10 Oct 2026, and it is fine.

We stood all eight formula revisions on a shelf to compare the color. We didn't like what we found.

The first formula the lab sent was right. We used it every day for about a week and did not want to change a thing. So we changed it.

DEC 2025Pre-orders taken on the first design: a stainless steel can with flat sides.
FEB 2026Titanium samples ordered. Steel prototype in hand.
MAY 2026First titanium samples arrive.
MAY 2026A sample flask goes to the lab, so the chemist can test the pour.
JUN 2026Steel dropped for good.
JUN 2026The black made darker. The skull print comes back glossy.
JUL 2026A laser-engraved sample. Flat, and no red.
JUL 2026The print made matte. A thin black outline shows around the artwork.
AUG 2026Outline gone. FOUNDERS EDITION engraved on the base, GRADE 1 TITANIUM on the back.
AUG 2026The first 100 go into production.
OCT 2026Twenty of the 100 fail inspection. Being made again.
FORMULA
MAR 2026001 arrives. We time it pouring from the sample bottle and call it too thick. No flask exists yet.
MAY 2026002: the chatbot's ingredient swaps, made exactly. No scent.
JUN 2026003 and 004: thinner. The color goes dark gray.
AUG 2026005: darker, more fragrance.
AUG 2026006: more fragrance. Then the black sinks in 003 to 006.
SEP 2026007 stays on paper. 008: the black stays, the scent changes.
SEP 2026001 poured through the real flask. It pours.
SEP 2026010 arrives: 001's base, fragrance up by half.
OCT 2026010 approved. Production ordered.
