- For ten years we made things that only existed on screens, for video games and music videos. Tens of millions of people looked at them. Nobody could touch them. Pure Venom is where we make the thing itself, in a material you can hold. PV-001 is the first.
we're artists by trade. and obsession.
For ten years, the work ended at the edge of a screen.
You could move a light. Change an edge. Rebuild an entire room because something was a little off.
Then the work became physical.
Body wash had never crossed our minds. That was the attraction.
We wanted to try something we'd never done before. Take something ordinary, something we knew nothing about making, and give it the same attention we'd spent ten years giving to entire virtual worlds.
We wanted to see what we could make of it.
Steel held water in the wrong places. A matte finish revealed an outline the glossy version had hidden. We made changes to a body wash we already liked, and made it worse.
There was nowhere to hide a bad decision.
We started Pure Venom to take that same attention and put it into things people could actually hold. Things that had to work when the photograph was over.
PV-001 is our first.
A flask with artwork across its face. A cap that has to seal. A body wash that has to pour. Every detail has to survive the moment someone picks it up.
Nothing about the finished flask asks you to care how many times it went wrong.
Pick it up. Turn it over. Open it. Use it... Display it.
The work is there whether you know the story or not.
